I did a search and read adnausium. From what I gathered, not all diff. locks will fit a Dana 80 w/3. 54 gears. At least not the ARB locker so it seems.
I am looking for some feedback, comments, and experiences from folks who have them installed. From what I read, the ARB is the strongest, followed by Detroit Locker, and then Lock Rite. I would have no idea.
I want the strongest possible locker that behaves well with normal driving and towing, especially smoothness if such a thing is possible especially . Sure would appreciate any help and guidance to get started in the right direction.
So far I have been OK off road by switching to 4 HI or LO. Would be nice to not have to do this all the time. Thanks for any replies.
