WOW, What a truck and it gets better you guys say????

It looks good, drives good, and I cant wait to get back in and drive tommorrow.

Couple of things I noticed today.

1) A guy pulls up next to me at a stop light in a 6. 0 Powerstroke. He is looking at my new ride. Then he waves at me. I look over and wave back. The look on his face says "I should have got a Cummins"

2) Driving down I-20 at about 65 when a bobtail truck pulls up next to me. The guy in the passenger side has his face pressed in the window. They get equal to the front of my truck, slow down, and thepassenger looks at the CTD emblem and turns to his buddy driving and says shakes his head "yes" its a diesel/Cummins.

3) My 74 yo Dad was in the back of my CTD tyeing down a pair of post hole diggers for me when he decides he is ready to get out. Before i can stop him he jumps off the bed to the ground. Lets just say he won't ever do that again! (He also asked me not to park next to his Chevy 1/2 ton again as his truck doesn't look as big anymore)

Got to go study the manual now.

Watch that you don't start to exibit symptoms of cumminsdieselmania. Some characteristics to watch out for;

- taking the long way home

- making up excuses to go for a drive

- driving around with a big smile on your face all the time.

- looking out the window (or in the garage) before bed to make sure the truck is all tucked in nice.

- evesdropping on peoples conversations if you hear the words diesel and truck.

- keeping the owner's manual at your bedside

- spending your free time on the TDR.

I have a guy that owns a 6. 0 Powerstroke and he's told me several times "I should have got a Cummins"!

Get used to the looks and long stares. This G3 really took off and people really like the looks of them. Enjoy your new ride and take the long route home.

Glad you like it.

I think you're stuck now. There's no way out. You can check out whenever you like but you can never leave. Or something like that.

I can remember the first couple of days of the "ah shi*'s" when starting the beast without the glo-plugs warming.

Now the problem is trying to drive anything, "gas" and WAITING... drives the wife crazy!

Watch out that bomber-itus don't set in and wreak havock with your cash flow. . :D

I had that problem with my VW TDI, and now its starting on the CTD! Repeat after me. . I must resist... I must resist... I must...

:--)

Good luck! :D
