the title said "My Favorite Truck Of All Time"... I clicked it, and saw that thing with the folgers can sticking out of the hood, and posted up a pic of the Pete saying I liked it better... I didn't say it was my favorite truck of all time...

if I had a big truck, it wouldn't have any graphics on it... one color or maybe a classic two tone job.

then when I saw you were talking about dodge trucks, I said my favorite was Jim Fulmer's because it's done up exactly the way I'd do it.

I realize dedicated pulling trucks or dedicated drag trucks can get away with a little more in the way of graphics and paint... sometimes a flashier truck will help get sponsors. but nothing brings in sponsors like winning! :D if we're talking pulling trucks, I'd say I prefer Crowder's truck... stock looking, reasonable diameter stack out of the hood, and enough power to alter the earth's rotation.

cheers,

Forrest

And this don't quite fit in this category either ;) Just joshin' Anyways I'll move it for ya.

Me personally I like to say LOOKSWISE Turbodiva's Caddy escalade pearl white 3500 takes the cake inside and out. Speedwise ... hmmm Ain't going anywhere NEAR That One  War is an ugly thing :-laf . All arround badass HAS TO BE BigBadDodge, Showwise the Kelderman's truck. Toughest truck I Know of is JerryTurbo's truck with 650,000 miles and so far needed a clutch and a throttle cable  Puller ... see note above ;)

I'm just a pup, but I do things a little different than most ;)

back in the day when all my buddies had mustangs and camaros, I was tearing up the street races in a fairmont station wagon... it was a high 11 car NA. lemme tell ya, there's a certain feeling of satisfaction when you're walking away from a brand new vette on the highway in a banana cream yellow station wagon. that car broke a lot of hearts and a few wallets too :-laf :-laf

anyhow, I'm just a pup w/ the soul of an old school hot rodder... to me, paint is nothing but rust protection. I want it fast and loud... the fewer dents the better, but a dent or two ain't gonna keep me from driving it... it just makes people clear the way a little faster when I'm changing lanes :p

I can appreciate a visually stunning vehicle... I've got a couple buddies who have cars and trucks that have been feature vehicles in multiple magazines... and like I said, my BIGGEST complaint on the original truck is the fact that that stack is as big around as it is tall! :-laf

but when I'm lookin' at my buddy's truck that's got ~$10k in paint and body, I'm thinkin' about what kind of POWER I could be making in my old beater with that kind of money!

different strokes for different folks,

Forrest

Yeah, forgot that guys name with the John Deere truck though. I think it was Dustin something. Nice looking puller, sounds tough too![/QUOTE]

Dustin Funderburg. The truck was debuted at Enterprise's Fall Pull in Glenford. Those guys stopped in the NAPA store on their way to the pull and we got an early look at the truck. It is a very cool look that combines the best of both worlds.

John

Thanks John. That's the name. Couldn't picture his last name for the life of me. I remember that debut at Enterprises event. Didn't he unhook from the sled towards the end on one of his pulls? Nice sounding, and looking, truck. Do you know who's engine he's running, or is it a home-built?

To tell you the truth, I don't remember if he got loose or not. The truck runs as good as it looks and I hope to see it out this year. I guess I was thinking that EEP did the engine, but I could be wrong. If I see him out there this year then I will definitely try to talk to him. He seemed like a nice guy. There is a picture of this truck on the EEP website under the results section.

John

This is my favorite truck. Kinda plain like Jims but w/ about 350 horsies less. But yet we still can't make Todays featured rig. :-laf

Maybe I should walk out in the shop and take a pic of her with a big hole under the hood and two short blocks sitting on the shop floor :D
