Yeah, I knew they ran Dave's converters and someone elses. I think their sites says, but who knows if that's what they put in these pulling trucks. They haul down the track pretty good, but run out of steam quick when they get to the end.
boy oh boy, i think that the air down there is getting a little thick for your brains, need to get those trucks up a bit to the thin air to clear things up :-laf the blonde with the beer was a bit much for my eyes
"Running out of steam", is just the old-fashioned farmer-type person coming out in me. I know you like to get offensive, so I feel I had to state this.
A select amount of auto trucks that I see, even after they downshift, then they let off. Face it, the majority of these auto's cannot rely on free-spinning wheel speed, you just don't see it, and it's not how they work. That's what you're after, but it's not going to happen. You know that! With the low rpms and lag off the line, and the "running out of steam" at the end, or loss of boost. They rely on a good converter and a trick setup VB. At least the ones that I was directing towards. Not all the autos are like this. Depends on how they're set up, hey.
