I promised a thread for my new 3500 Dually, so I'll start it, but it has rained here and the truck is filthy so the only photos I have are when it unloaded at the dealer, and a few in the garage as I was adding accys. I'll add better photos when I can get her washed up.

Yesterday, I hooked onto the toy hauler and took it for a good test pull/shakedown tow from Wickenburg to Ehrenburg. A little over 200 miles round trip, and there are some decent grades to pull. I am impressed. Obviously since my last truck was a 6.4 gasser, the difference is enormous, but even knowing how my '05 CTD pulled, this thing is pretty amazing.

Well, this happened today

Went through several wacky scenarios, and is basically locked up. I knew the tech stuff was a gamble going in. As long as the AC keeps working, it's just a bump in the road. I was going to schedule a visit anyway, as the "soft opening" tailgate just crashes down, and the right cable is much shorter than the left, so it takes all the load if you place weight on the gate.

A friend of mine had that happen with his 2019 also. Disconnecting the batteries reset his.

This thing rides so well, but I wish they went to the C&C lug pattern, and offered the 19.5s as an option.
When one compares the additional marginal wheel weight and marginal tire weight increases in regards to going from 17” assemblies to 19.5” assemblies.....be glad you have the 17” versions. The increase in rolling resistance and additional rotating mass are not positive factors in regards to achieving good fuel economy.

With that being said.....for my commercial use of the truck, I really like my 19.5’s.

Also.....price out dismounting 6, remounting 6, and balancing 6 19.5” tires and wheels in your area. It ran me $380.52 when I installed my new Firestones back this April or so.
