Here’s some low numbers.....of course my truck is a 4500 Cab & Chassis, weighing in at 10,860 lbs and is 4.10 equipped.

Road Trip HD.....for Apple products. The one you see is the paid version....they have a free or reduced version, but it does less. I think it cost around $10

I’m sure they offer it for Android devices as well.

Woke up to the fact that I am running fairly heavy, stiff, somewhat aggressive EXO Grapplers on my truck, so they are not helping on the mpg front.

Thanks for posting that, Greg. I really should go to something like that app, or Fuelly. I am still analog, and keep a notepad in the console:oops:

Are those solo numbers ?. Loaded numbers do not bother me as there are a lot of variables but the solo going down the interstate at a some what constant rate except for a nasty head wind I imagined being higher.

I've been toying with adding an app, but I also use excel and track that way.

Maybe I'll try the app and see what I think.

Thought I would throw a couple graphs together.

This 1st one is every fill up. Truck has 15,635 miles on it. I've put 12,368 of those on it and tracked every mile. AVG MPG is 13.12. 3582 towing miles.

This one is any tank with more than 66% of the miles being towing. 80% of my towing is in the 17-20K GCW range, with 500 miles a year above 23K and very little below 15K.

I was worried going from a 12v 5spd to a 6.7 auto. I have been fairly happy with my mileage so far. Haven't towed but a few trips with our TT (8K) to get mileage numbers for that yet. Commuting to work and around town is 15-16mpg hand calc. Best ever was 20-ish mpg hand calculated on a 660 mi round trip out I-40 to one of our shops in TN. I ran low 70's most of way. My EVIC is usually 2 or 3mpg high.
I need to start keeping track better with an app etc...

Fill to top each time you will know EXACTLY what your mileage is on LEVEL ground.

General driving around over two tank separate fills combined my computer said 12.2 and hand calc 12.11mpg.

OK, here is the overall MPG for the first 5268 miles, its a bit disapointing, but it includes towing 5ver and boat at times. I seem to drive a 50/50 mix of city/hi-way. I can break down the MPG with the 5ver but it wouldn't be accurate, due to fillups before and after in the empty mode. 13.836 MPG and the DEF is 526.8 MPG, this is hand calculated.

Being mixed I do not think that is that bad.

I received an emissions recall notice today. After seeing how the Eco owners got hosed on performance, I am leery about this deal. I would like to know if this will reduce mpg, and/or hurt engine performance. I think I will sit on this until more information is available.

I'm still waiting on a permanent solution to the "welderup drag link recall" myself. In the interim, paint marks and routine checks work just fine. Can't say I blame you for a "wait and see" approach on this one Tom.

I got a second or third call about the drag link recall on Feb 27th and they took info on which dealer to ship the part to, as I said I did not want it welded. Left a message an hour ago with the dealer to see if they have seen the part.

I've also received several notices/calls. Every time I speak with a person I explain why I will not proceed with the recall until a permanent solution is available. I don't think I'm getting through to anyone.

Has anyone considered getting the revised drag link, having an independent shop replace it, then submit to FCA for reimbursement?
