I've also received several notices/calls. Every time I speak with a person I explain why I will not proceed with the recall until a permanent solution is available. I don't think I'm getting through to anyone.

I still have my fingers crossed. The blue Loctite seems to be holding fine after I clocked the ends correctly and tightened it as tight as I could with the tools I had available. I am in no hurry, but if they want to install the replacement part, I will take it.

I received an emissions recall notice today. After seeing how the Eco owners got hosed on performance, I am leery about this deal. I would like to know if this will reduce mpg, and/or hurt engine performance. I think I will sit on this until more information is available.

And if your a Comifornia residence, they won't allow re-registartion until its been performed when due, glad I left that hell hole. I'm leary of it as well, I think I'll wait for it, I got mine as well today.

I think I have a tailgate recall but I won't take it in because I have heard if they touch it they weld it. Not the tailgate.
I think they are required by law to perform any available recalls regardless of what the vehicle is brought in for.
I've got a few stacking up on me as well, track bar, tail gate, and the BTSI thingy.

Just talked to the dealer. She said no parts are available and FCA has not released any parts for the permanent fix. She said they weld it and then cut the welds if it needs a an alignment. I said no thanks! Why did I think this going to be the answer! Will do my check of the link again today.

The 2019 part number is 68338342AB and appears to have plenty of online availability.

I understand you also need a 6505623AA.

I have been told several times welding is the permanent fix, unless its replaced but replacement isn't the plan for drag links that pass initial inspection.

Looks like there is also part number 68338342AD, and it's listed for 15-20 trucks. 68338342AB is just listed for 19-20, thou I doubt there is much, if any, difference.

68338342AD wasn't in stock and not back orderable, 68338342AB was in stock and I have tracking information.

I am generally pretty averse to over-servicing air filters, but I have been reading reports on other forums of the air box on the new trucks accumulating more debris, so I thought I would take a peek. Compared to my '05, I would have to say those reports are accurate. A ton of bugs/debris in the bottom of the airbox, which I vacuumed out. The bottom of the pleats are grubby/black looking, like crankcase vapor. Further "up" the pleats, in the direction of flow, they were pretty clean, very little dirt/dust when I tapped with the heel of my palm, just more bugs. Given the depth of the pleats, I have no doubt it will easily go to the change interval at 30K. Currently approaching 14K.

I'd wager the accumulation on the dirty side is due to
the so called cold air intake? All of our QSB6.7 have a "pre filter" that forces the solids out through the bottom through centrifugal force, not an actual filter, it's crazy how much dirt I clean out through them on my PM's.
