Just got my Boggers over the weekend and had them mounted up. Gonna be using them for wheelin' only as they get pretty hot just driving to and from work. What do you guys think?

Sweetlooking ride. Wish we here in mass could still do a nice lift and some 36" or so tires but come sticker time we would be rejected because the lift laws I think are 2" from stock measured at door sill from factory specs when new. What a bummer. Go find some mud this weekend and have a ball.

What size are those, and how did you get the duals to work? I have been looking into going up in size, but haven't found a method suitable for my use.

do you tow this where

you use it or do you drive a short distance??????Obviously tires are a compromise and these are for serious off road fun... .

He drives it and wheels it! Those boggers are just for play... . he has a set of 37" Super Swamper SSR's (I think?) on Alcoa's or some other aftermarket rims he runs everyday!

Anyways SWEET MAN! :--)

You got it, Smoke! I just run the Boggers for trail riding and wheelin' on the weekends and I just put my 37" SSRs back on last night.

The tires are the 38. 5"x11. 0"x16 Boggers. They are only 6 ply tires, so I dare not take them on the freeway for too long as I have had plenty of experience with the famous fact of bias ply tires getting hot, blistering and blowing out a section of tread, ruining the tire.

I just use my 37" SSRs for road driving and long distance trips. Got the portable air compressor coming this week, so that will make trail tire swaps quick and easy. Just need to find an electrical outlet at a ranger station to fire it up though. Gas powered ones are just too darn expensive.

No way, Jason, looks like fun but not fun enough to cave my door in. One of these days I will be able to afford a basher, go everywhere rig like yours. What do ya think of the truck with the Boggers? I am going up to Hungry Valley this weekend to try them out, you wanna go too? Hopefully, it will rain again and make things nice and mushy for my new tires.

Looks good, think it would look kinda cool with some wider ones in the front but then you wouldn't be able to rotate them...

Negative on the hungry valley, I broke all 4 front axle shafts on that trip so my truck is a 2wd for a few weeks while the parts are ordered :(

Boggers? On a dually?

I can see it on a moon buggy or Jeep, but a dually?

Anyway, I do like your lift-- looks like the Cepek long arm kit...

That looks awesome. I'll bet it gets the looks on the road. Are you running a locker in the back? What are those tires rated at in lbs/tire?

Jeez man, howd you do that?

Well, let me know the next time your down this way and I'll do my best to meet up with ya. Good luck on fixing the carnage. :D

Yes, Boggers on a dually, primarily why I bought the 38x11 tires. They work excellent in the rear. Lots of guys I have talked to run these tires, some everyday, but not me, they are just for play time. Also, the kit is the Ling arm Cepek, it works great and rides %100 better.

No locker in the back, just the stock posi. The tires are only 6 ply and rated at 30 psi cold. I run 30 in the front two and 20 in the rear four. I will not take them on the highway as I have had too much experience with these bias ply tires getting hot, blistering and blowing out on me. Off-road only.

Besides, they dont last on road. I had my boggers for 7 months and they were about half gone already when they were stolen. Albeit, a few smokings were involved in their life. I also had a bad problem with balancing/flat spotting. It was worse than any other bias tire or interco tire i had run. I talked to interco about them, and they said to try this. Run 8psi in the tires around town for about a week. then try to balance them. It actually helped. But it was a little spooky driving around with 8psi in them. They also seemed to work better after that, as they were more flexible in the rocks. could have been my imagination, though.

Anyways, that truck looks awesome. Flat out awesome! :) MAkes me want a dually. Have you seen siblingrivalry's dually on 49's? www.siblingrivalry.com

Oh yeah, I have seen those sibling rivalry trucks, I actually prefer the long bed Balck Chevy over the others. The Dodge of theirs is too "showy" for me. Here is a pic of my favorite one.

I am not going to run the Boggers on the road except for may a show or something, but other than that they are for wheelin' and dirt only. I can get an idea of how fast they will wear down from the amount of wear going form the tire shop just to home. All the little new tire needle thingys were gone in the middle of the tire by the time I got home! Good tires but wish they could make them out of a little harder rubber compound and make them last.
