Im waiting for my 4 stock wheels form another member to arrive. The vib moves to the steering if i move the left rear tire to the front. The dodge dealer has been very very slow on getting back to me about the scrathed wheels. I call and they have another excusse on why they don't have an answer for the scratched wheels. I am 100% positive that i have all new u joints new axel flange to transfer case input shaft and they are tight

452 hp??? holy cow!!! I thought your 6. 7 was the hot rod.

Not yet! But it is on the way. I had to get the torque converter taken care of first (which I am testing now BTW) and now I have to save my pennies for duel CP3s. On the 6. 7, to do it right you need to make sure you don't drain the rail, then you can really start building HP. The 6. 7 is already at 385HP with just the Juice so I am sure it won't take much to surpass the 99. Just a little time!!!:D :D :D

Mine did not cause a problem as it feel off just broke my back sticking it in the bed. and ****** me off trying to jig it back on.

well as it stands my truck still has the same vibration. I did learn that the more weight that is behind it the worse it is. things that i have changed since then are the wheels. no change in the vibration. (really thought that was it. ) Put 4 new tires on it. it rides nicer with the new bigger tires, but still the same vibration is still there. the dealer is waiting for the next new rear drive shaft to come in ( why I have no idea the 1st one made no change but lets keep buying the same thing and it will never get fixed). So i talked to the owner of the dealer and took him for a ride. not sure what thats going to do for me, but after this drive shaft is put in my truck it can become a lemon. Does anyone know what I have to do to lemon my truck? Not really wanting to do this but I hate driving something thats not smooth.

Kenny, before lemon law'ing it, ask them to take the truck to a rear end specialist. If it is speed and weight sensitive I would also be considering a bent axle or diff problem.

I will mention that. I told the owner i feel its the rear end. Had a similar problem in a friends mustang and it was something in the rear. we just swapped out rears and it went away never really looked into what was bad in it. The owner said if its not the drive shaft maybe they would throw a rear in it. I would like a new truck, who wouldn't but i don't want to deal with the hassels or swapping my snow plow stuff, dpf delete, and other stuff. that and mine isn't to old with a whole 13,020 mile as of now

Thanks Kenny

Well after a month of waiting the new drive shaft has been put in. and what a surprise it still has the same problem. Im dropping it off with the trailer and my jeep so they can really feel the vibration.

Let me get this right,

You had your tires balanced and found a bent rim, You moved that rim to the steer axle and the vibration moved to the front.

The put in another set of drive shafts and now are replacing the axle shafts?

What happened to the bent rim?

When the rim was moved it added a vibration to the steering wheel witch was from the horriable job they did on balancing the tires. They took the weights and put them on the oppiste side of the wheels. I then rebalanced them at my buddies shop and pretty much put the same amount of weight back in the same spots as there where in before the dealer ever touched them. and I then had the same vibration. at this time we didn't know a wheel was bent till I bought new tires and had it done by my other buddy at etd and there machine has all the cool stuff and we learned that the wheel was bent. wheel was barley out but i got a new wheel and then i still have the same vibration. since it was nice the other day i jacked my truck up and ran it at 40 mph and can feel the same vibration i feel in the truck in the pumpkin. I know my mustang is smooth when you do this. So I told the dealer and They pulled the axle shafts out and found them not to be true to the straight edge so now im wating for them to come in.

Did either of the rear axles produce a visible wobble or hop when you ran it with the rear wheels jacked off the ground?

I felt it in both tubes and pumpkin never stepped back to look at the tubes doubt i would have saw anything though. I had jack stands on the outside of the leaf springs.

Oh yeah forgot to Let you guys know. It still had the same vibration. 2 new rear axel shafts no different. I even loaded up my jeep on the trailer so they could feel the really good vibrations that i drive with when towing. Now im waiting for the dodge rep to take a look at it.

Torque converter?????? This has me staying up late at night drawing pictures of different scenarios one of them actually has a Dodge mechanic wearing a gorilla suit and chasing you with a blow torch.

Wow, what dealer is working on it so we know who to stay far away from? What is that old saying about insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result. Have the rep bring an MTS 4100 vibration analyzer and correctly identify the source of the vibration. Cases like this make me crazy. This truck could have been fixed long ago if your dealer had the right tools or just bothered to call his tech rep and borrow it.
