Very nice, I hope my directions for your fender flare install helped you out?

Ya, I ended up drilling all my own holes for the rear flares. I also got some 3M adhesion promoter to prime the trucks paint for the double sided tape. I used up all the little prep sticks while wiping the flares down for the tape. It actually makes the paint tacky, so I would highly recommend to anyone that uses it to mark the outline of the flare with tape so you wipe it in just the right spot. That stuff works great, I don't think these flares will ever come off!

It's a Kore Pace system with the back sort of customized. I installed the mini-packs, removed one of the 5/8" factory spacers, and installed Procomp 1 1/2" solid aluminium blocks. It worked out to be about an 1 1/2" rake as opposed to the factory 2 1/2" rake. It's perfect for me. Tires are Nitto Terra Grappler 325/60/18 on Diamo 8 Karat wheels. The flares are ATS, which came already painted and fit perfect! I do have a very slight rub on the door side of the fender flare so I had to trim the flare just a bit, not bad at all now. If I had longer control arms it would be perfect. I thought I read that Kore was working on a steel version of their billet arms.

Nice. I have the same truck, mines the BigHorn mod,A little more chrome. I put chrome Nurff bars on it (wheel to wheel ) I can"t find a dimond plate tailgate cap for a 2006, I have the bed rails already. Where did U get yours. ?? I like your rims , what kind are they.

WOW nice looking truck

How does the Pace set up ride on the highway and around town?? I have been think about the Pace for my truck for some time now.

I am very happy with the Pace system. The ride is still firm, but smoother. The Bilsteins are no doubt an improvement over stock. Thanks for all the compliments guys. :)

Zachry, the tail gate protecter is made by Dee Zee and it covers the whole backside of the tailgate.

How do you like the tires?? Are they as loud as they seem they would be?? Shoot. . who cares if mamma lets me get the stacks... it won't matter any hoot! :D

Nice Truck!

Can I have a copy? I ended up letting a body shop friend do it thinking I might goof something and now I have one that has pulled loose and won't re stick :( , good thing it also has screws. But I do need to pull it back off and re-do it.

I was thinking I would ask the vendor for the tape and sticks. Did you follow instructions or do something different?

The tires are wide, about 13 inches. The do make some noise, but not as much as a 285 mud tire. I like them, but I think I am going to get a Kore steering stabilizer to smooth things out a bit.

BIG P

Could you please post my instructions that I pm'ed you for everyone to see? I tried to find it under sent messages but it didn't show any thing as being sent.

Thanks,

Actually I took a closer look and only the drivers front is still good. I need to re do the other 3! AZTruck (flair vendor) said many times you may have to shim where the screws are because not doing so can make the flair want to pop loose where the tape is used.

They are still a really nice flair and its just a matter of taking extra care on the double sided tape thing.

This is what BIGP sent me-

I used 3m adhesive promoter on the trucks body, and I sanded the flare and used the sticks for the tape. I got the 3m stuff in disposible wipes at an autobody supply place, it works great.

I would suggest you leave the fender on the truck, tape as close as you can to the flare to outline it. Take the flare off. Use a wax/adhesive remover on the old tape surface to get it clean. Prep the flare with new 3m tape. Now hit the truck with the adhesive promoter, keep it off the tape line because it actually does something to the paint to make it tacky. The tape will stick like a weld! Just peel back a portion of the red tape backing, 2" or so, screw the flare back on the truck and pull the rest of the tape backing.

I was a little hesitant about doing mine myself, but it went just fine. Just make sure it fits good before you finally stick it. Also the ideal temp for the promoter is 60-80 degrees.

Thanks again!
