Just the other day, on a Dodge diesel forum somewhere, I found a listing of part numbers for the NAPA replacement trans cooler lines. These are 01-up factory-style steel lines and fittings (this eliminates the plastic quick-connect) that are much cheaper than buying them from the dealer. It was about $300 for all the parts, iirc. I've searched everywhere and can't find that list. :argh!: Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Edelmann makes 98-up replacement hard lines that are available at Autozone under the Duralast brand. The two lines are about $110 total, but I'm not sure if we don't need more than two pieces. Plus fittings, of course, but I haven't looked them up yet. Has anyone looked at these parts in person? If not, I guess I'll be the guinea pig. I'm a manager at Autozone and will try to figure out the part numbers for everything and order them soon.
I'd rather buy new stock-style steel lines than have replacements made up at a hydraulic shop because the truck is my only transportation right now, and I do have seepage at one of the connectors, so I need to do something before it's too late...
thanks
kevin
