Moved this over from 911
I was out yesterday and after being parked for a few hours, I fired up my truck and started to drive off. I noticed a weird grinding/vibration for a second and then it went away. A short while later, at an intersection, clutch in, it happened again, only more noticeable.
Over the next few minutes, when ever I stopped, it seems to re-occur and increase in intensity! Stopped again, and when I restarted, I switched the transfer case from 2WH - 4WH -4WL and back -no change. . Still occurred when ever I slowed down and went to neutral. Can't be certain if it is the clutch assembly (had to put a new throwout bearing in a month ago) or the front drive train. I switched to 4WH and it seemed to stop.
I am very reluctant to drive her any further than the dealer!
Any thoughts on WT? is going on?
Could it be an ice buildup? I spent the weekend ice fishing and driving thru some heavy snow for a day!
Thanks as always guys!
