NE Iowa Dyno Weekend

I'm ready

I'm just about done getting the new mobile love palace ready for it's maiden voyage . We plan on leaving here around noon, and should be arriving around 6 PM. I'm bringing a mechanical fuel pressure gauge for the guys that want to check their lift pumps. I'll also have a digital camcorder with to take some movies of the dyno runs if anyone is interested. I can also help with the dyno runs or whatever else is needed. See ya Friday night

Problem with the G-tech.

Extreme1, I would love to bring down the G-tech for you to use. One problem, I can't find it. I think I loaned it out to someone and haven't gotten it back yet. The problem with that is, I don't remember who. Or even if. It may be floating around in my truck and I just can't find it. I'll try to find it as best I can, but for now it's MIA. Sorry. But with a little modification to the program, we can use the dyno to do your accelleration testing on Sunday if you like. We'll talk more about it Friday.

If you can help Dave that would be awesome. That'll take care of alot. I'll be bringing some chairs and some tables. I'll explain more when you guys get there.



We still need volunteers to help with the Dyno and for Food (if the wives want to volunteer, that'd be really cool). I figure that we could use my pickup to make the run for lunch since I won't be entering the contests. Ladies, you'd be the envy of Decorah. Guys, you'd just look like you'd be suffering from wiener envy. At least, that's what people tell me.



As a side note, if you plan on helping on the dyno, please bring some safety glasses. I will have a couple pair, but with this much HP, I don't want to see something go horribly wrong.

I HOPE my GSK kit arrives! With my luck it will be sitting on my doorstep when we get home Sunday night.



I called PDR today to see if it was sent because he was having a hard time keeping them in stock there for a while. They told me they were having a time tracking it down. Seems the one person swears they sent it but no one can find the tracking info so they sent another one just to be safe! Gotta like customer service like that.

Well, to be honest, I am not sure if I'll even have a truck for the weekend. It went to the body shop on Monday to repair a key job I received 2 weeks ago. It is supposed to be done Friday but the dude said if he wasn't happy with the job he wouldn't let it out of the shop. Hopefully I'll be there Friday but no promises. Cross your fingers for me... .
