Hermiston Oregon!
There is a proud new owner of a Powerstroke who lives there. This guy has been on the phone to his Mother, telling her this is the baddest truck on the planet.
She is a friend of mine, and since her son is kind of a Horse's Butt anyway, she has asked if I knew anyone up there who would put his new ferd in the rear view a few times. He has a favorite Mountain that he can go "75mph" up! Oh my gosh!
Being the nice guy that I am, I said yes, I would try to help!
If anyone needs details of the Ford, let me know.

Maybe someone from Power Wagon's old shop will invite him over to play with any given Cummins that they happen to be BOMBing that day. They are right at the bottom of that mountain.

Hey wait a minute! I had a guy from Hermiston camp next to us last summer. He wouldn't shut up about his new dark maroon, crew cab PSD. There was another Cummins owner on the other side of him and he invited us both over to his camp for a drink. Both of us Dodge guys turned out to be BOMBers and after listening to him go on and on, we finally decided to set him straight. Almost ended up in a fist fight. He loaded up his trailer, wife and kids and blasted out of the campground. Definately a horses butt! Could this be the guy?

MGM... I will be near hermiston next wednesday afternoon, and be glad to help! I will have the wife and daughter with me, but she can't yell forever!

Another option would be vaughn mackenzie... he lives in pasco, less than 1/2 hour away from hermiston. All he has is 275 injectors in an ETH, but if he wants, I will send him my Blue Box. I have loaned it out before.
What hill is he talking about? If it is Cabbage Hill, I know it well. I pull it all the time, loaded and unloaded.
SEND US MORE INFO!!!

I'd rather be... .
Cummin than Strokin.

MGM... that hill is way too sharp to do 75 with any trailer or camper... would have to be a total idio... well he did by a stroke!

My inlaws live on the top of that hill. My father in law pulls that hill with his 5er and PSD in third gear about 3200rpms! When the sign says 45mph curves, it means it, even empty. The bottom is pretty straight, must be where he gets up to 75mph, and he probably needs to!

Nope. My guy didn't have red hair, and he wasn't that tall. I can pull Cabbage Hill at 60-65 with my 5er in tow but have to back down to 50 or so on the corners like Rob said. I'm 220 miles south of Hermiston or I'd gladly give him a run for his money. I may not be a match for some of the newer BOMBed Dodges, but my ol' '93 hasn't been "stroked" yet. #ad

I'd suggest someone from there, except nobody there has a really quick truck. The only guy there who's competitive drives a PSD with a RACE chip.

If whoever this is can do 75 up Cabbage, it's no particular feat. I don't know anyone, however, who would do it. Maybe the NW Bombers could invite him over for some educational experiences???

I love that hill. I will be on the lookout for him when I pass through. It just makes my day to dust off a big, bad PSD. Sometimes I do it by accident #ad
. I love the looks on their faces. They go through a series of emotions that look something like this: #ad

I live in Hermiston and although I only have a VA on mine I would be more than happy to educate him. I do Cabbage Hill alot 8 times this year (slow year) and 75 was ok in my Corvette. We need more info on the color of truck etc:

Rob email me and stop by on your way thru.

Either should get through. Just clicking the link won't work.

ahhh... the cgpud.org address is no good. Use the gdoliver@eoni.com address/

That's quite a horsey THANG you drive, there Rob #ad

If you come out this way on a weekday, you gotta stop by Wentland Diesel and show Doug how a REAL truck runs... Careful, though, he does have the RACE chip, last I knew... unlimited RPM's and fuel over the EGT limits for a PSD...

Power Wagon... thanks!

Evan, maybe we should have a NW BOMBers meeting at Vaughn's place this spring... about 12-15 Rams ought to shake this guy up a bit!

I've got an nice empty lot alongside my place that should hold 1-15 Rams. My Ford neighbor (and diesel injection mechanic) would love it #ad

Weber1048 let's meet up when Rob comes through. And meet up with PowerWagon too if possible. It was just before Christmas last year I met up with fellow NW BOMBers for the first time when I joined Rob for pizza in Hermiston #ad
Rob Myers was there too who we miss having around on TDR.

Rob keep us posted on when you'll be through.

Vaughn

I would not be able to make it, if it's on a Saturday... But I probably could on any Sunday. I haven't been to Tri-Cities for anything but a straight drive-through in eons... Oh, wait, I did once visit a dentists office... #ad

I'd love to meet up with you all...
