I am looking at purchasing a 1992 D250 TBD 2wd to be a third family vehicle. It is a one owner with no visible scratches or dents.
I drove it hard for about 30 minutes. Seems to be tight and shifts
well. It does not seem to be quick from 0 to 60 like my old 6. 5 chevy. It is an automatic with 260000 mostly highway miles. He said he never towed a travel trailer or anything heavy. It was used to go on trips from GA to Canada often and back and forth to work. He does live in a rural area where you are 30-40 miles
to a wal-mart etc... . he seemed to be very picky about maintenance and showed me proof of oil changes every 3000 miles. All the loose and worn front end steering parts have been
replaced. He did not even offer the truck for sale. I struck up a conversation with him in the mall parking lot and one thing led to another. He needs the money so he can put $$$ on a new four door truck. He wants $5000. . ANY INPUT OR ADVICE WOULD
BE APPRECIATED. THANKS EVERYONE ALSO NEED TO MENTION
THE TRUCK WAS RE-PAINTED TO ORIGINAL STOCK COLORS 2 YEARS AGO.
