I have found what may be a deal. 3) 2500 Cummins trucks #1 is a 1997 club cab, 200k NV 4500 4x4 #2 is a 1992 reg cab getrag 4x4 125k had flatbed but its removed #3 is a 1993 ext cab auto 4x4. All are well maintaned trucks I know the owner. Both the older ones have near new VE's & the auto has about 10k on it. They are all Texas ranch vehicles & have no rust but have body damage on the sides. I have a '70 Ford on a '76 Highboy frame with 40" tires that I would like to swap to cummins power. & my '95 started life as a 160 Auto. The '93 is the nicest of the bunch. I'd like to get the pump off the '97 for my truck & I need the shifter to have convert mine to the later style, I have the top cover already. I could totaly part it out or reinstall my pump & resell it? my wife wants to keep her truck an auto (Fordzilla) so I would have to take the motor from the reg cab & trans from the '93. I would want one of the 60 Fronts for it also so I would probably ditch the divorced case & install everything from from one of them. (Fordzilla has a 70 rear but 44 front with 4. 88's, 4. 10's would be better with the cummins) I could swap the ext cab to the 5 speed & resell it or part them all! Or I could part the '97, take the pump put my 160 on it & use it in the Ford, take the auto from the '93 & sell it with the stuff to swap in the nv 4500? What does that take to do? I've never had a 1st gen? Would I want one of the 1st gen intercoolers or would the 2nd gen work? I'd still want a front axle from a 1st gen. Endless possibilities!!!!! let me know if you need anything & I'll keep ya posted on my decision.
