I need a new fuel transfer which is mounted on the block. Dodge does carry it anymore and they only have the tank mounted version. Anyone know where I can get one.
You will find it in any Cummins dealer, just ask for a liftpump for an ISB. Freightliner would also carry it I pressume since the ISB can be found in a lot of their trucks.
I bought one from the link above about 6 months ago as a spare and no longer need it. Still in the box. Also have a vulcan big line kit available. Send me a PM if you are interested.
I wouldn't bother putting a Carter (supplied the oem's) on. I replaced mine with a Carter which died within one year. Safe yourself a lot of headache and go Glacier, FASS, Airdog or RASP!
Thanks Everyone I picked up a new pump from cummins and it is working fine. I also replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it starts and runs fine.
I have to echo BTowler on this one. Get an FASS pump. It will feed your VP-44 like it has never been fed before. In addition, the filters are really inexpensive and easy to change. No more running the battery down while trying to prime the old filter system. I went through two OEM lift pumps before I bought the FASS.
