First off I have to say that I am pretty fustrated with this kit. I guess the instructions are good, but the universal brackets and ability to mount the system in the location shown in the pics is one of the most difficult things I have ever tried to do. Fortunately I have got past that part only to run into a problem at the CP3. I have a factor MOPAR Jake brake and the fitting that goes into the CP3 interferes with it.
1. I need to know if I can splice the new FASS hose into the original low pessure hose.
2. Should I do this before or after the factory filter?
3. How do I ID the correct hose?
4. How do I make the connection? Double ended brass barb with FI hose clams?
I have the 150 Pump and Filters and my truck is a '03 HO short bed 4wd.
For over $600 you would think there would be at least a warning or disclaimer in the instructions before you cut into your factory fuel system.
I really need to get this truck running tomorow.
