I installed the DD stage 3 injectors, boost modul and K@N filter in Dec. and have loved all the power with no egt problems until the last month when I started towing my 8000# boat. After a trip to Lake Mead and then to Lake Havesu I have found it is vary easy to send the egt's threw the roof. On some long grades on I-70 I don't have the power to use OD where the egt's never get above 1200, but when I shift to Drive and the RPM's get above 2500 I can know longer use full throttle. Will a JRE exhaust really help or do I need a turbo housing? Larwance at DD recommended plugging the wastegate hose. Can this also help the egt's?
