Todd T, the reason that I mentioned the lift pump was due to one experience I had, with the EZ (and then, no other mods. ). I was really steping on it it while going up a good grade and let off real fast, several seconds later I proceed to slowly accelerate and I have NOTHING, the truck was bucking and choking, it seemed like it was starving for fuel and getting just a dribble at best. I pulled over to the shoulder as I had no power at all. After a minute at idle, the truck ran like normal again. This was my first and only stumble with the EZ to date. While the truck was at the shop having the McLeod installed, I asked to have the FP checked at WOT and mine was reading a big 0 psi's. Since the Mallory has been installed, along with bigger injectors, not even a hint of a miss or stumble, no matter how hard I push it. Keep us up to date on the map sensor issue, but I doubt that's it as other members have noticed stumble with stock air. I have no experience with the PM, but I will real soon #ad
and I'll see if I get the stumble then.

I have to disagree on the cause of the surging. My PM3 was my first bomb and the surging started immediately (stock air filter and airbox at that time) so that pretty much rules that out. Also, the amount of oil it would take to travel from the filter, through the turbo, the intercooler, and through all the connecting piping to get to the map sensor would be extreme... and if it does happen, it certainly wouldn't happen immediately. I still think it's the PM3 amplifying small signal changes from ECM, particularly because it goes away at lower settings. I've pretty much just accepted it (as long as it doesn't get worse). All of this is based on experiencing small surges... if you're having large fluctuations, I would be more concerned.

it sounds like a canned answer to me too, but that is what i got. i have replied and will let you know what developes.

I can live with it as well, but would like to know that its not a problem that should be "nipped in the bud".

does anyone know is it OK the run with the power turned off to the PM3? or should i just turn it to "0"

todd,,i see 45lbs boost with my set-up,,,,i also get the surge every now and then ,,i have my box mounted under the dash beside the hood latch and have noticed that the remote(lites) doesn't always match what the box lites are doing,,,,,the green lite flicker at light throttle is what it's supposed to be doing(just adding a little extra fuel),,set it on 9 and your green lite will stay brite!!!!!

I will look into the wastegate first, as it seems to race right up to 30 and then it hits a wall and stays there. which to me sounds like the wastegate is bleeding it off.

I agree with all of you about the lights, the remote doesnt follow the box. my biggest concerns now are the fuel pressure, and I dont plan to run it too hard until I get it verified as to what I have. I was planning to run it on the Dyno this weekend, I guess I will still do that, but I'm now running scared, after getting sucked into the fuel pressure discusion of Chris's. I dont think I want to pay for a VP44 right now, and I'm sure my wife would have something to say about that too #ad

I didnt hear back from Mark yet, about my reply, I'll let you all know what he suggests.
