2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need mirror switch info ASAP

Can anyone tell me if 1998-2001 Dodge Ram 1500 mirror switch is same as used on 2002 2500?

If it helps at all, it appears the same switch was used on all three models (1500/2500/3500), by my '98 SM.

A bit of searching and the answer is: 97-01 (1500), 97-02 (2500/3500) all use the same power mirror switch. (This, of course, begs the questions as to how it moves from truck to truck and how it gets to my truck just when I need it. )

yes the ugly joystick is the same on all those models.

Can't remember when that went away but if it is a joystick it will work.

Thanks! Armed with that info I was able to pick one up on eBay for $26! It was the only one for sale on all of eBay.
