Need MoBoost?

We are about to start the Bombings this weekend on a friends truck, 96 5sp. Installing Gauges... and are going to move the factory Cam Plate. How can the boost be increased. . (I know we can clap the vaccum line. ) I know that on the aftermarket plate kits have the elbow with an ofice in it. . Anyone know the size of this orfice, and is there anything else special about this elbow? (Does it have another opening to help leak off the vaccum before the orfice?) Thinking maybe we can use a vavle and adjust it until it works like we want to.

Or are we just wasting our time with the factory plate????

Bryan, I can't help you with your question, but would also like to know what egts some guys are seeing with the stock plate all the way forward and a stock ehaust. Is it better to only go part way? Thanks

Well. . If all goes as planned. . or even close to it. . I'll let you know what the EGTs are on Sunday. . He has aready lost the CAT with a straight through muffler, and a K&N. .
