Jim,

What type of hose/fuel line material are you running to and from your A1000?

The specs for that pump on the Aeromotive website are very impressive.

Which Aeromotive regulator are you using? The one designed for use with the A1000 or something different. The idea of using an adjustable regulator with a boost reference on a diesel seems that we should all have been doing that long ago. What an idea (brings visions of alcohol dragsters to mind). And feeding both sides of the pump. Have you had fuel starving problems on high runs?

Jim,

Just a few more questions, if you don't mind ?

Where did you get your Dragon Flows?

Do you run the fuel pressure gauge inside the cab?

Do you think my 17* timing is enough?

If not how much more?

1. Straight from Industrial... . back in 04'

2. Nope, don't run on at all, just when I want to check it.

3. Nope, more like 20 or more but I haven't run lower than 18 since 03'

Jim

Hammer, we have never had a serious warranty problem with our Dragon Flow injectors. If you had a problem, then why am I in the dark about it? I do not remember a conversation with you about a problem. If we did send you a bad product then we are sorry. WE HAVE NOT BEEN KNOWN FOR BAD PRODUCTS! I need to ask you where did you buy your Dragon Flow injectors? Were they second hand injectors? Who tested them and was the gauge accurate and of known quality? How were they sealed in the box? A piece of tape? Dragon Flow injectors have many things done to them besides nozzle hole size. What we do to the rest of the nozzle/injector adds another 35% fuel delivery with out sacrificing droplet size. Jim talks about them because he has made power with them. Dragon Flow injectors are in the Predator truck. They ran a 8. 4 quarter mile with those Dragon Flows that you are crying foul about. They also did that with fuel supply pressure of +80 psi with no failure. The higher you run the RPM of the engine the less fill time you have to charge the P&B of the injection pump. Higher charging pressure is the only sure way of getting a full charge of fuel in the P&B's without causing housing errosion. We do care about our customers and we are interested in taking good care of them for any reason that is within our control. Thanks
