Anyone know of a good spot to purchase a new air cleaner housing..dealer or online? The previous owner drilled holes in the bottom for more air, but I use my truck on out-of-state hunts and the roads sometimes are like talcum powder. I am not liking the idea of dust being able to enter the housing from under the vehicle and so close to the tire.

I have one I can sell you from my 2005 for $50 plus shipping...shouldn't be too bad as I am in N.Cali.
The one that I am running now has holes drilled in the bottom...lol.

Seafish,

Send me a PM on where you live in CA? I'll be heading up north in the next few weeks and I just got back from Fort Bragg and Redding last Thursday.

Do the holes cover the entire area? Or could you cover them all with a 4" toilet flange? If they can be covered you can add a Home Depot CAI tube and plug it on dusty roads.

Yes, there are a ton of holes in the bottom of the housing. When I inspected it the other day there were pine needles in there and a ton of bugs. Way more than my last 2005 CTD without the holes.

It may be a little redneck, but can you seal it back up with duct tape? It comes in stealth black, or camo if you prefer!
