Need positive thoughts for injured wife.

We had a horse accident while loading them on a trailer over Memorial Day w/e.

My wife (Rebecca) got her hand caught between one of the lead ropes & trailer stantion when a horse spooked & proceeded to take reverse flight. You think your CTD has power? Ever see one of these horses w/ a wild hair up its butt engage its flight response?

She broke her hand in several places & had her thumb detached from the hand. She underwent successful thumb re-attachment on Tues but is struggling w/ severe pain and nausea.

Would appreciate any positive thoughts/prayers for her.

Count on it Mike. Sorry to hear of her accident. I have a neighbor on Lake Sinclair that had two fingers reattached. There is a scar, but the fingers work fine. I don't think I would have ever noticed had he not told me about it. I wish the same for your wife. You take care of her and yourself.

My thoughts are with you and your wife. One suggestion for her once she is able to get around is to go right back to your horses and do whatever she can handle. Also, go over the scenario while your minds are fresh to sort out what went wrong.

Sorry to hear of your Wife's injury, We wish her a speedy recovery.
I fell 30ft to concrete and broke both heels and shattered my right leg in 6 places. Spent six months in a wheelchair, more than a year in theraphy. Pain was always there, still is 6 years later. Best advice I was givin during my recovery was: You have six months from the date of your injury to maximize the odds for your best healing. The harder the injury is worked, the faster/better it heals. The body adapts to the stresses placed on it!
