You never really appreciate good health until it's taken away from you. I know how tough it is to deal with pain on a daily basis. Just let her know that it does get better as time goes by. That can be a positive focus for her. I've learned patience and appreciate family and friends support. Good Luck to you both.

Mike, Give that gal all the tender loving care you can work up, remember why you married her. Pull out a photo album, wedding day or courting, and sit back with her and she will get her mind on better thoughts.

I almost lost my wife at 30, hard times, but we did it and you can do the same. You gotta do all the chores, bring her flowers get that charm turned up and it will lift her spirits.

Your lady and you are in my prayers.

Your bro,
Mike

Mike, We wish you and Rebecca well and a speedy recovery. Injuries are no fun, as I had to be waited on by my fiance Barbara for a while this year after a bad snowmobile crash. She took care of me as women always take care of their man, Now it is time to show how well the men can take care of their women. Good luck and God Bless.

I guess this is why I attach to race cars instead of horses... . Am deeply touched by Rebecca's incident and my thoughts are with you both. Statland and Lawdog took the words right off my keyboard: let her know she is loved and appreciated each day; flowers are good, books and magazines are even better; reminicing is a nice break from present reality, too! Make all of us men proud, and be a world-class caregiver... she deserves it, doesnt she? Chin up, buddy!!

Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife.

Remember, God only gives us what we can handle, nothing more.

Mike. . I just passed the 1 year anniversary of an accident that had me down for 9 months... so I KNOW how your wife feels. . my prayers are with the two of you and remember it will get better. . trust in the man above.

It's amazing how most things work out for the best. Sometimes we wonder how or why. Accidents like this are always hard to take, but lord knows it'll make all of us more careful, and will probably prevent more of the same than you'll ever know. You're in our prayers and please keep us posted. Injuries to the limbs are never fun. It's amazing how much we take them for granted until we damage them. A great many years ago, in a land far far away, a very good friend of mine was almost killed and wound up with both arms in casts for over 8 months. Just imagine the things he couldn't do - like proper bathroom hygiene. We joked about it later, and still do, but surely not when it happened, as he was lucky to be alive - as was not the case for many that day. The Lord willing, you'll look back at this and see some good actually came from it - but surely now you can't see it. Please keep us posted.
And you know, as others have said, a good wife - well there's nothing better than that.

Remember one thing, the good Lord dishes out only what He knows you can handle. Your in our prayers. May it be a quick recovery... .

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I wish your wife a full recovery and both of you the best.

We're all pullin' for you and yours.

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident. My wife had a similar accident with her foot. Dislocated her big toe and broke the next two in the joint. Three hours of surgery. Her horse fell down while she was walking through a dark tunnel under a road. It was preventable, but it is not always obvious before the accident happens.

Later,
Tim
