My wife hates the seats in my 03, I have the chance to swap two matching seats from a 03 that are both power and have the factory seat warmers in them.

How difficult will it be to do the wiring for the passengers power part and both for the heater part? What parts will I need to buy? I assume the seats come out with 4 bolts?

Your help greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike.

I have been told that that if you already have power seats the heated leather power seats are a direct swap. The wiring harness is said to be the same. Not sure what to do with the switches/buttons. Please let me know how this works for. I am looking for a new truck and considering a cheaper truck and swapping seats.

I *think* if you already have a power driver it'll be plug and play to make the power work. The heaters on the other hand Will require a new wire run to the seats as well as the switched added in the dash. I think you'll find the factory switches and bezel to be in the $200 ballpark.

Thanks Scott, So Do you think I should buy one of those extra fuse box holders from Genos? I could run the wires right to them? I am not good with electrical things. Would I need relays ? or ???

I can't guarantee any answers but... My experience adding heated seats to my 06 was this:

The wireing for the switches is already in the dash. Buy the switches and bezel from Chrysler and they'll plug right in the dash. The dash harness is routed to a large plug near the emergency brake. The harness to the seats leaves from there. If you did not have heated seats you'll have to tap the correct wire at that point and run it under the carpet to the seats. No need to add relays.

There is only one wire to run the power seat, it's divided by the seat switch to all the functions. It would be no problem to tap this wire under the seat and run the passenger seat with it as well if need be.

I was under my seat looking to see how the seat belt timer unbolts,,an saw 2 chaffed/melted wires.
Does any one know where on here that shows the wire colors that feed what items?

THANKS
