when I first start the engine, I will hear a slight (sounds like bottom end) rumble for just a second and a half until the oil pressure comes up. Sounds like bearing noise but very slight. I haven't hot rodded the truck, I've towed medium weight trailers and do 5k or less oil changes (DELO 15/40). I Do have a south bend clutch so no dampening from the dual mass flywheel. Truck uses NO oil. I have heard the same rumble in old 300 ford sixes that we ran at UPS. Never had a rod or main failure.
Never heard this on my second gen as they were so darn noisy.
is this normal????
