Best price on brake controllers?

buying tt

I have an '01 2500 A/T and towing a 25' 5er at about 8500# loaded. I am leaving for the DC/VA area this am and have a DTT VB and power edge EZ,without the elbow, and no gauges yet. At 60, i get about 1900 rpms and at 65 about 2100 rpms. Should I have any concerns? I will be getting gauges installed at Muncie in June.

Thanks for any info

I take it with those RPM's and MPH you have 4:10 gears. I see no problems towing your rig but I do not know that area. I would suggest if you come to a hill to slow down and shift down rather than pull a big hill with the wimpy OD cluthes. Let the engine rev to keep your speed on big hills these engine will not be hurt by high reving, the only thing it wil hurt is your fuel mileage.
