JCutter said:i put my hobbs in the air horn. You will need a tap for the hobbs also, sorry i used my dads tools. Youll leave out the TPS switch on the zex kit. Dad hooked one wire of the solenoid to a ground, the other to the hobbs, the other post of the hobbs to the arming switch and the other post on the arming switch to the positive of the battery.
With my set up i only use my 150hp nozzle (. 088)? they should come with a chart also. Mines set to come on at about 13-15 psi. The bigger one adds too much (im guessing) because it makes a popping sound like when i miss ajusted it before.![]()
Theres no need to go with a second stage (for just beginning or playing around) because i can easily break traction in 3rd when it hitsNot to say that would be nice but i would need to get a smaller turbo so i would have more unburnt fuel.
Sick Boy said:got the zex kit today along with the hobbs switch. i was reading about the tps switch for the kit, why is it so bad to use it? why not just ease into the throttle until you get the boost up then floor it. the hobbs says it runs off liquid or gases so what do you do with the hobbs, does it go under the hood with everything else?also how do you ajust the psi on the hobbs from 15 20 etc... . ?
