New 12 valver

Ok guys, you 12 valvers talked me into it. I bite the bullet and bought a '97 club cab 5 speed 4X4. It's a 1 owner truck in real good shape. I bought it mainly for the 5 speed, and because it's a little less nice (has fewer "nice-ities") than my 98 24 valve. By the way, I need to sell my 24 valve (see ad in classifieds), so if anyone knows of someone looking for an absolutely mint truck, turn them on to mine, please. Now to start looking at the torque plates...

The Texas rally is the end of the month and close to San Antonio. I have a box of torque plates that will make your head swim and your Ram very happy. Hmmm, maybe some injectors, and . . .

Careful now, I'm not converting. I just wanted a 5 speed, and a less expensive truck. I still liked my 24 valve!

I also plan to bring a TST comp box to show the overvalved cousins. So, the properly valved (12 is enough, thank you) are not the only ones who get to play. I was told it kicked --- at the Scheid Rally. From what Mark told me, it should give as much power to the 24 valve pump as is possible from a box. It's a 0-9 level box like the PowerMax 3 but its level 5 is like level 9 on the regular PM3. Heh, heh that gives you 4 more levels to play hard! Ya gotta ask yourself "do I deserve the extra power?"



Lawrence and I are continuing to play with air system upgrades, and he has some more magic injectors cooked up for the 12 valve. I might have some results by the Tx rally.



I hope we can get #2D to go to the Rally in Kerrville TX; I hear prices and availability are scary right now due to the terrorists.
