Looking for the right toy hauler

hemi durango anybody run one

I've been searching and my head is spinning, maybe I'll get lucky and Barry will have all the answers... ... :)

I'm ordering a 38' Work & Play which can come with either a 5er hitch or gooseneck. The pin on the 5'er is about 4. 5 CL in front of the 102" wide camper vs the GN setup having it about 2" back.

Yes my truck is a SB, no I don't want or need a dually and all my weights will be in line. I don't want an automatic slider. I've got lots of trailer towing miles including 5ers in SB's with extended pin boxes and fixed hitches (25k+ with the 5er's)

The chassis of the trailer is stout and is unchanged aside from which "stinger" they fab into it. I'd rather go gn all else being equal but realize I need to build in some "extension" if i'm going to make it work with the ball in the right place in the SB and turn corners etc. The corners of the camper are radiused, I'm guessing about a 5-6" rad. This trailer is not available with a narrowed nose but has too many other things going for it to change my mind on the trailer.

Suggestions?

Plan b is to go with the 5er hitch on the camper and a 9-10" manual slider 5er hitch in the truck
