Tommy I also am looking for a white 2500 longbed. Have you tried calling around to the truck equipment and utility box installers in your area. If they have one it will probably be in new condition and be priced around $700 to $1100 dollars U. S.

If they don't have one in stock ask to be put on a waiting list. .

Hey you Guys Looking for New Beds.
I Have found a Good place For New Take Off's.
They are the Service Bed Manufacture's and or their Dealers.
Try a Search For "Factory Takeoff's". Or "Truck Bodies".
There is a Place in Bakersfield that has had Dodge Ram Beds in Stock Called Douglass Truck Body. Their web site is www.douglasstruckbodies.com.
Or Diamond Body Co(dont know their website)

Also, I think there is a Company Called California Takeoff's or Something like that.

Well I'm thinking I want to convert to duals, so then I'd have this nearly new (bought last Nov. & driven 6500 miles) 2500 bed for sale. Any idea of how to get that bed in Texas to Seattle? Then I could ship mine south to Tommy in B. C.

they didn't have a bed in stock but they refered me to someone who does-- the companys name is california takeoff- they specialize in truck beds- didn't find a web or email address just a phone no- 1-800-732-0030 he's based in fresno ca but roams the ca central valley buying and selling truck beds---

Guys, I am sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner. I just came home from the hospital today after surgery last wed. They also gave me a urinary infection from a cath. I think they got from Home Depot. I feel like hell... ... ... I have the bed and also a friend of mine has a white and silver 3/4 ton bed that came of his 2001.
