New Reese straight-line installed, got questions

Well I got fed up playing with 12volt batteries and took the plunge. I replaced 3 12 volt group 24 trojan deepcycles with... ..... wait for it... ... ... 4 thats right 4 Trojan J305G 6volt batteries. Each one of these bad boys is rated for 620 minuets at 25amps:) so even with increasing the voltage from 6 to 12 volts I still have 1240 minuets at 25 amps. Thats about 20 hours at 25 amps:-laf lets see the kids run me out of juice now. While I was at it I put in a 12volt start battery just for my Onan 5. 5kw generator and hooked that up to a solor charger mounted to my pin box. The 12volt is hooked only to my generator so I should always be able to fire it up. The down side is that I have 400lbs of batteries, but I should not have to run the generator much. I'll post some pictues of them mounted in my Weekend Warrior, thank god they left a big area for them.

That's what I want to do whenever my 2 new 12V Interstate batteries give out. Only problem is that I have two sliding trays for batteries. I'll have to figure out where to put the other two. I too have the 5. 5KW Onan generator. I can alway start it by hooking up the power cable from the truck and turning on the ignition switch. I had to do a few times when I had the Lance camper with a 3. 4 KW Generac. Of course the Lance only had one 12V battery.

After many cold mornings running out to jump start my generator, I said enough;) Luckily a co-workers husband manages a battery distributer. The battery posts were screwed up by a newbie so they could not sell them as new. So I got a screamin deal:-laf:-laf
