Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) new downpipe for HTB2 turbo

Hi Guys,



I am positioning myself for the purchase of the HTB2 62/12 turbo in the next few months and am aware that I will need a new downpipe. I've seen downpipes offered in several places.



a) are all downpipes (stainless ones) created equal? If so, should I be shopping just on price?



b) I am looking for a list of "tips and tricks" to easing the install of the downpipe. Will I have to drop or remove rest of exhaust, etc.



I've searched a few threads and haven't found anything... which most likely means I am not looking hard enough.
