Competition Stacking a redline with an edge drag comp ?

Competition New T-Shirts are done!

Here is the Dyno Sheet from the Ft Worth event on Saturday. These are the uncorrected numbers as there was a negative correction factor of 5% originally. There is more to have on the #2 side as I didn't think 640 was quite were it should be. On the N20 side there is more to have also as the 848 number happens too late for the dyno..... trial and error..... no biggie!

I figured it would be a little better but still not bad. I haven't tuned it at all with those injectors as I just installed them on Thursday strickly for a N2O pull, found out it likes a tad less plate with the bigger injectors, at least the truck acts better.

Nice drive too, I came down from OKC to the event in Ft Worth Tx then over to Paris and back to OKC yesterday... ... 640 mile round trip.

Jim

That's it?!?!?!?!? I know of a 24 V VP 44 truck laying down numbers like that on a single and spray!!!!! Just kidding Jim, nice numbers. :D

And he's running allot more spray. I have a . 063 and . 093 solenoid and no controller... ... mine is old school, turn it on with hobbs switches and a -4 line!

My goal is 675 on #2 and drive it there just like I did Sat, then see what the bottle will add.

great numbers Jim, I wish you could come to Buda this weekend, but I understand that 2 weekends back to back is pretty hard

get 'er tuned and watch outOo.

Jim.

Nice numbers for an undervalved, underturbo'd truck. Yikes, 200hp more on nitrous. Thanks for the info earlier. Your peak power line on the graph is long enough to take a nap on.

That shows what I see on the road... ... . pulls really hard for a long time!

Underwood, I'm on the road now and will be for a while, would love to run again with a few different settings from Saturday.

Doug, it's not that bad and I think close to 900 can be done with the current setup, when I get a chance I'll talk to you about it.

I was a nervous wreck about breaking it again then Mike Shannon and Comp 461 both said, don't sweat it, we both have trucks and trailers... . run it!

Jim

Nice #'s Jim. Not bad for an old paw-paw truck. If you let me drive it when you get it fixed I will come get you if it breaks. :D

With friends like Mike Shannon and Comp 461 I bet there was still a slight hesitation. I know there would be for me.

freakin' sick Jim... can't wait to lay the hose on my junk... if I do 700 I'll do a standing backflip!

Underwood, I might have that MP8 sold for ya!

and LMAO @ Mike @ Greg... I'd probably trust Greg for a ride home... I'd definately trust Mike for full well MEANING a ride home, but if it's a truck he's been beating on on the way to the dyno? I might align my ducks, ya know? :-laf (all in good fun Mikey!)

Nice numbers Jim... . really awesome! One question though... . are you still running the Dragon Flows?

Yes that was with the Dragon Flows. I need to tune the truck to them even a little on the road, just didn't have a chance as the whole thing was last minute.

I think I had just a little too much late pump as it was really smoky, would freak you out to see a stock pump flow that much fuel.
