Like the 7.2 I don't believe you'll see this in a pickup anytime soon, if ever. Both are a B series HELM platform aimed at vocational/commercial use. Total different application.

I'm not with you here, both is 40 years old trusted working stuff that makes very little to no problems throughout the normal lifespan of the vehicle.

I'm very happy that we don't have to walk around town inhaling the gasoline stink anymore like back 40 years.

I can't say the same for my experiences. Last few gas vehicles I owned had nothing but EVAP problems. Two of which had cracked cats. Besides the cat problems, I went to diesel to rid myself of EVAP problems. Again, it may be where I live, but the little o-rings in the EVAP lines don't seem to hold up. My last vehicle I needed to replace the charcoal canister, a majority of o-rings, the EVAP check valve, and the purge valve... I'd fix one thing, and then a few months down the line, I'd get my small EVAP leak code and chasing wind mills. I hated it.

My smoke machine earned its keep on that last vehicle.

Even though I don't personally own a Cummins, I've had NO emissions issues on my EcoDiesel. Better yet -- this truck is 5+ years old. My previous vehicles would always treat me with emissions codes at the better portion of 2 years. No friggin' way I'd ever go back to gasoline. No way.
