I assume you've triple checked that you have all the wiring harnesses plugged back in.

you didnt break the map sensor when pulling the head out or back in did you? again, just checking.

I would visit each sensor and connector unplug> grease> reconnect. trace the route of each too make sure they arent smashed or had been smashed in the RR.

check that you didnt smash the harness going across the cowl. most of the wires in that bundle go to the PCM. again, plug and unplug those two connectors.

you may have the valves out of adjustment still, once that happend to me with a four banger and the valves were just really out of adjustment..... its silly but worth bringing up :-laf

Pretty sure it not valves, checked them twice. Could very well be sensor or electrical problem, although I should have codes you would think. Gonna look it over again tonight, check fuses etc.

Thanks for the input keep it coming. The only dump question is the one that is not asked !!!!

OPolle, could you elaborate just a little on that ?

3/4" x 3/4" square plug under the apps. It sends the single to the ecm that controls the fuel.

I have left it unplugged once or twice and the truck will not start.

Under the cowl. It was the wire my Powermax3 connect to for power. I think it may also power the pump. It was weak from the scothlock and broke when the head passed it by. Pretty tight in there.

well aint that some ****!

glad you find it, at least. I was begining to think you had a gremlin like that.

OK, now you pulled the head due to low or abnormal compression in one or two holes? what did you find when you pulled it?

I think so. I believe the word MORON can only describe what I found. My grid heaters were indeed disconnected. I am so ashamed. BTW, Todd, you coming to Byron this weekend ?
