Be careful!
Just a word of advice, Wolfgang. If you can, have a spare intake plenum gasket handy. The instructions say you "should" be able to reuse the old one. However, mine was adhered to the plenum and the intake and there was no way of saving it. I ended up having to make a gasket from scratch, using gasket material, due to my remoteness and unavailability of Dodge parts. It has seemed to work well, so far.
If it hadn't been for that set back, the project probably would have taken about 2 1/2 hours. That was with 2 guys. If you do have a buddy that can help, I suggest asking him/her. When it comes to removing the old injectors and popping in the new ones, it will be much easier with 2 people.
Also, removing the rear engine lift bracket can be fun. I don't know what they use to tighten those things with, but have a cheater bar handy. I thought I was going to bust the head of the bolt off before it came loose.
All in all it was a fun project. For someone like myself, who is by no means mechanically inclined, it was a breeze.
And Shooter is right, the instructions provided with the DD's are excellent. Also, do a search on injectors and see what you come up with. There have been several posts on replacing injectors, with different ideas on improving or expanding on the process.
By the way, I see your just down the road in Reno. I'm up here in Alturas, 3 hrs away. We'll have to meet up sometime.
Good luck.
Dan
