Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Hi everyone,
I am new to TDR (Dec. ) but just got around to setting up on the web.
I own a 97 3500 Club Cab with very few mods.
My truck is the one that Max Wedge was asking for advice on having "very poor fuel mileage".
Poor it is, 8. 5 MPG towing 7000 lb. racecar trailer.
Max gave all of the details in his post, but one of the mods was incorrect... ... it has a #8 fuel plate, not a trans eating #5 as listed in the post.
Max thought that it was a #5.
Anyway, thanks for all of the ideas of what to check. I since have removed the Cat and Muffler to see what that will do for it.
I am keeping my fingers crossed!!
I am heading to the race track this weekend, so I will see if there was any improvement made.
