WRStrong said:Hey guys! How hard is it to get RV parking at the balloon fiesta? I have always thought that's the only way to go on a fiasco like that. I would be up for bringing my lowly 2002 Tahoe 5er. The family would love it and with some CTDs around we men would have something to talk about!! How's ever body doin?![]()
I sent an email to enquire from the fiesta people about getting a block of spaces. Here is the original and reply from them. We have gone every year for the last 5 years, dry camp in the official fiesta rv park, it is nice.

The only dates I can offer you are 9/30 thru 10/5 in Premium (water &
electricity) and VIP dry camping; the nights of 10/7 and 10/8 in Premium;
and all nights in Standard dry camping. VIP dry is located next to the
Fiesta Park with free admission. The other 2 areas are approx. 3/4 mile
south of gates with a free shuttle back and forth. You also pay admission
from those two areas ($6 each time you go thru the gates).
If you would like to discuss this further, please call me at the number
listed below any morning 9 a. m. till 12 Noon MDT>

Hello,
I am the webmaster for the New Mexico Turbo Diesel Register (TDR). We
are the state chapter of the TDR. We have been discussing the
organization of a national meet at the balloon fiesta this year. Are
we able to arrange for a block of RV slots?
Thankyou,
Jeff Wolf
