Well, we moved in Feb 2. Garage/shop is a total disaster right now - need to set up stuff, unpack, etc.
Glad to be (mostly) moved but will be very happy when the old place is totally cleaned out and SOLD! The snow, ice, mud has slowed down cleaning things up at the old place. Don't want to make too many ruts in the yard/field cleaning up stuff. Made 2 scrap metal runs and 1 dump run on Wed. They were calling for more "weather" so I burned a day vacation to work at the old place.
Weather permitting, meeting with the realtor tomorrow to get the old place advertised. It needs work so I'm hoping to sell it as is - I'm burned out working on things.
Update on the plumber fiasco...
3 days after we moved in my wife puts something else under the bathroom sink and things are wet - GREAT - now what....the plumbers never tightened the drain, so it was dripping.
The shower door leaks at the bottom - so I need to re-caulk that. Done calling them back - useless and frustrating. They did drop several hundred off the labor for the other mistakes they had to fix (and for the ones in the concrete they couldn't fix

).
Heater in the garage is working GREAT! 44K and it keeps and warms up, even in the teens. Guess I did OK with the insulation then

I'm happy!
Pellet stove in the house now working good as long as I keep the "fines" to a minimum. Got it connected to a thermostat so it increases heat output when necessary, but almost never has to do that - got the basement well insulated too. Sometimes need to open the utility room door (uninsulated area) to suck up some of the extra heat so it doesn't get too warm in the basement.
