I always thought the brown in the tan/brown combo was too dark, creating too much contrast between the two. If the brown was a few shades lighter, I think that would look super classy

I agree with you on that. To much contrast between the two, making them look disconnected or patch worked! SNOKING

WHAT? Am I the only one left with taste here? LOL

Patch work for Dogpatch it is I guess. I like it!

Nope......not at all....:) See sig....:) My 2001 was black/agate which I liked, the seats and panels were grey for contrast. For me, the black interior in these new trucks are black..... all black, seats, dash, panels, etc.....too much black with no contrasting or accenting colors......Boring. MMMM....tan just right.

I first extended warranty I ever bought was in the early 80's on a VCR player! Never used or needed it. The second was on the new RAM in September 2015. I would just not own one of these new VERY complex trucks without one.

SNOKING

I have to agree with you, but I got burned on an extended warranty on our RV. The RV Dealer said they were including the warranty, and that it would last for the length of the loan (a Good Sam's ESP) the loan is 15yrs. as it's broken down (an insignificant amount) like the life insurance in the loan is paid monthly. That part of the pmt runs the length of the loan but the warranty ended in 5 yrs. Had to use it only once, For a propane leak. If the extended warranty would start at the end of the 5yr,100K warranty it would be great but I think it runs concurrently? Does the warranty run concurrent or start after factory warranty?

There is a dealer that offers a Life Time Warranty on every Vehicle they sell up to and including All Ram Trucks even with the Diesel Engines But the only draw back is they say you can only get the vehicle serviced or repair in their shop and it must be service every 5k or 90days which ever comes first, not worth it!

I liked the Dark Brown interior, but it was not an option it was either the 2-tone Tan/Brown leather or Black leather, too easy to get dirty,

Where did you find the Chrome Bug Guard all of them that I can find here in Chula Juana are either Smoked or Clear Plastic not Chromed or Stainless Steel?
I don't think anyone answered your question....so I'll give it a shot...

Thats what I thought. Boring, always dusty looking, hot, Black.

Brockman: How much gunk get's collected under the chrome bug shield and is it easy to clean out that gunk?

Very little to none. I occasionally find a small leaf or a part of a leaf. I can put my hose on stream and blast anything out while washing. It has four small rubber bumpers that mount to the shield to space it away from the hood. It's fastened to the hood with 4 push pins, so it is easy to remove if needed.

I reallllllly don't think it re-directs any air / bugs differently.

IMO----it does a great job of protecting that leading edge portion of the hood from various debris (mostly stone chips).

I am totally wth you on Loveing the Beige / brown Interior. My 2014 Laramie has the white exterior with a silver bottom and the beige /brown interior really sets it off for me . My last 4 or 5 vehicles have had either black or various shades of grey interiors and i was ready for a change . I know the beige seats will require more care and cleaning than a grey or black but I really like the whole feel of the Ram interior . This is one hell of a truck IMHO I have ten K on her and I just can not find much not to like about this truck.

Beige / brown, Black, pink or yellow. We all have our personal tastes. Friends today came to the park right behind us with a 2014 copy of our Laramie with the exception of the Beige / brown interior. We will have to park them side by side and compare.

I think all those with 2013+ 3500's and 2014+ 2500's with the new frames will all agree the driving/towing experience is really great no matter what seats you are sitting on.

Agreed!

There isn't a day I get into my truck that it doesn't start out with an ear to ear grin!

I'm sure it's the same for all of you.

Snoking I was very Happy with my Duramax until I drove my Buddys 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie . Totally agree with you on the huge improvements we have seen in the Gen 4 Ram trucks . When I am towing with mine the feel is so solid and surefooted as compared to my Chevy Duramax . I could not be happier with mine. I learned an old saying in the car business that speaks to the wide range of choices when buying a car or truck. " There is an *** for every seat"

OK after changing lanes on top of a car on my right hip, the mirrors went up into the towing position. Snoking
