The bumpers might be functional, but they are definitely not going to add to the cosmetics of the truck. The price is at average with most better know rear bumper makers, so I'm not too sure about their value. The lights they come with are not a deal buster, just normal tractor supply looking ones. I think you could have none better for not much more.

y-knot,

This is the second time in about a week that you have put down another member's buying decision. Take heed the old saying, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I think you comment was just plain mean.

Exactly what does
but they are definitely not going to add to the cosmetics
mean? You may not like the looks, but that's hardly definitive.

Can you substantiate your vague assersion that this bumper package is not a good value with an example of a comparable unit and price? And as for a pair of tractor lights, they should be adequate for backing up at less than 10 MPH.

Looks like a good bumper & deal to me.

Sorry you feel that way, I do not think it was mean or I'll spirited at all. The bumpers are not any cheaper then the most common aftermarket replacements available and they are not very cosmetic either. So what would be the draw?

Wrong bumper breath :p

They are much cheaper than Renuel, Buckstop and Ranch hand. Don't forget to add the cost of the light holes and lights.

Next time some little ol lady tags my rear bumper, it will be touchup paint rather than body work, paint and a replacement tiny, thin stock bumper :D

One of the reasons I like this site is you get a lot of different perspectives on products and and solutions. I don't have a problem with Yknots input, nor did I interpret it as a putdown. Just a critique, no big deal don't get your tail in a knot. (no pun intended) ;)

Just for all your information, I build about the looking bumper but the main difference I see is, mine extends further out on the sides and towards the rear fender 10 inches. Just a little more protection for the sides. 3/16 steel also. That being said, are you buying a bumper for the looks or the protection, looks, and value. I don't know what others sell for but I do know you get what you pay for.

Let a man be happy with what he bought without cutting down his choice. That is in very bad taste. It dosen't sell anything nor should it do much for your ego.

Bye Now

I don't think Decals all over a truck are exactly cosmetic either, but some guys like them

I think it blends in with the rear of the truck very well, instead of looking like it is hung on there.

Personally, I really like it. It is very clean and would go good with my front Road Armor.

Good choice Dane.

Don't like the fronts ones.
