Living in California, I've recently had to upgrade my propane tanks in my 1998 Bigfoot to the newer Overfill Provention Device (OPD) type tanks. Naturally, I also need to update the LP hoses from the tank to the regulator/changeover valve. After viewing the new style hoses, it appears that the tank adapter is pretty much standardized, however, I notice that the regulator end has 1/4" 'inverted flare fittings'? What are these? My old hose has regular 1/4" NPT ends. Are the two compatible or am I looking at a new regulator/changeover valve as well? Ideally, I would also like to install a pressure gauge between each tank, but need to resolve this before the next outing. Thanks in advance,
