New to Dodge and Cummins

Just bought 2013 2500 Big Horn crew cab 4X4 6. 7 manual shift with 3. 42 rear end ratio to pull my 15K 5th wheel. After reading some posts maybe the Ainsin auto would have been the better performer?

See my column in Issues 68, 71 for info on the G56 and dual mass flywheel. Also, there is a long thread on this forum with updates, opinions. etc. on lubes for the G56.

My younger sister has had 2 Dodges with the G56 manual transmission. The trucks both towed most of the total highway miles and the 09 truck has 120,000 trouble free miles on it now. If the truck stays stock and is used by a rational person the trans will be good to you.
