Hey everyone I'm Jeff, new to the tdr and all forums really. I have my 12v daily driver and my Sunday truck a 01 I been building for the last three years (currently dynoed at 600hp 1100 tq at the wheels)anyway currently the truck is defueling on me and I can't figure out why, it's not throwing any codes other than 1693 and 500, 500 is coming up because if I unplug the speed sensor on the rear it won't do it. Truck seams to defuel around 70mph. I recently installed a new tone ring and sensor when I rebuilt the rear, the ECM was changed about 2 years ago by Autoworks diesel here in nj. I have asked them what the problem could be and they claim it's the ECM again, to me that makes no sense, ECM controls the pump so it should do it whether the speedo is plugged in or not, right? Any help guys or ideas would be great please

Welcome to TDR. If you could provide us with a list of modifications that you have done to your truck, we may be better able to help you with your question.

Hey jgillott, currently I am running a hotrod pump, 200hp ddp sticks, quad adrenaline, pdi manifold, htt pro street 66, studded, lowed compression, Oringed head, 110 Hamilton valve springs, water meth, south bend 850 double disc. Like I said before I also just rebuilt the rear with Yukon gears with a Detroit trutrac and new tone ring and speed sensor. Hope this helps you
