Is that factory street legal?
Wave if you see a white 06 pulling a Wildcat TT going north on 5. We should be rolling through that area on Saturday. Have fun with you new bike!Oo.
Sweet bike.
Taking my KTM 525SX to Colorado next week (Ouray/Telluride) for some trail riding. Actually takling 2 in the back of the Dodge. It's about 25 hours straight thru from Ohio. I made mine street legal for about $400 in lights,horn/mirror.
I'd like to try one of those. What's the approximate dry weight?
Sweet ride Mac,don't tear it up on the first trip :-laf
Don't stress her too much or she will find ways to keep you off that machine! The wife busted me leaving the house doing a stander with the bros#@$%!.
Good lookin bike. My next off road bike will be a KTM - 250 2 stroke with e-start though. 50? Heck, I was in an enduro the day after my 40th birthday last weekend and a guy on minute 1 was 85! I trail ride with a bunch of guys in their 50's and 60's too - tight single track in the woods.
When commuting, I usually got 58-62mpg. But my bike is 609cc with an Edlbrock carburetor vs. your 654cc FI model. I think the fuel mileage would be pretty close and you should be able to go at least 150 miles/tank.Should be around 250 miles round trip. The big question is if the katoom will go 150 miles on 3. 2 Gal of fuel. We will see![]()
Looking forward to that and more on the big block dirt bike!I will post pics when I get back.....
