Competition Fletcher's 10.13 Run Video!

Competition Thermal Coatings and H.p.

Wow! 8 to 106 on ONLY 23 seconds:(. Watch out, he might have to get out of a geo metro's way as it passes.

it took ~11sec to go from ~8 to ~60mph.

the distance was ~. 4mi according to the odometer

0-80 should be in about . 125 mi(<9sec). he did 8-60 in about 1/8th mi (. 125)

I hope it'll do it faster than that.

Mark, you are the last person that I would take power advise from. I've never seen a truck that you've worked on make anything decent. "Your Moms" truck comes to mind, although I know you blame it on the trans.

I bet that truck would smoke you in a race. :D

Not unless it goes 0-60 in MUCH less than 6 sec ;)

I followed "Your Moms" instructions about testing prior to the transmission mods (that were needed before I ever saw it).

I didn't post the video. I just watched it. 8-106 in 23sec????

a 76mph 1/8 yields ~9. 2 sec. A stock D-max with a box or 2 will run easily in the 8's.

Am I missing something here?

I think the best thing to do is ask Lenny if he wants to race Juice.

Lenny got to drive it and was offered a race with it after he ran, what, 690 on diesel only?

Lenny, what did you say to the race? :D :D

Mark, stop being a hater. Just cause you can't make a set of twins work on a Dmax doesn't mean you need to bash.

Oh, was it mentioned it also has a DTT transmission? Maybe THAT'S why you're bashing...

I'm not hating. . never have hated DTT or their ownwer(s)/affiliates. I do like their competition more and their products.

I've never tried to build twins for a D-max. I wouldn't bet on me not being able to do it if I were you;):D

The original post acted like it was a fast run. Did you think that was fast?

What I want to see is the pyro, and boost gauges! The speedo wraping around didnt look to impressive.

You are hating. You're hatin' on the game by discounting this run as "slow". Your pickup can't do what that Dmax does, and neither can mine. Heck, there are very few in the US that can do it on diesel alone, AND with 1200*F as max EGT, AND at only 40 psi, AND with stock injectors, AND weighing 8000 lbs, AND with a nutty Canuck at the wheel!

I'm betting you can't make a twin setup for a dmax... if you can, why not? There's big money in it if you get it right.

Check my post above. That's directly from him about boost and egts.

BTW, this thread is fun Oo. Oo. :cool: :-laf :D :-{}

Mark.

Not wanting to argue, but according to my watch his truck accelerated from 20mph to 110mph in 13 seconds. That is not exactly slow.

So wheres the proof? How do we know ho much fuel he is running?

There have been alot of big claims on these twins but no facts yet, so until then I will sit here and post otherwise.

How effiecient were the first set of twins on a cummins? Probably not near as good as the set ups we have today. The D-Max is a powerful motor, (its been proven) but it still has a ways to go for R&D for a good set of twins, and there is alot less room to do such things as running diffrent charger set ups, so I guess we will just have to wait and see.

HAHAHA... you wanna know how much fuel he's running? Enough that he blew up 3 stock turbos and ran easily to 2200*F. He put down 550RWHP w/ stock charger.

Would you release propriatary info about something you've designed that is going to make you money, but less money when some douche steals your ideas, or wait until you've got them ready to go and a few out the door, then release it?

You are right about the efficiency, but I have no reason to doubt Juice. He used to run above 2000*F on the pyro... many people have seen it. He now says he's at 1200*F. Is he stefan?

The system is setup to run 40 psi... thats where it sits now. If he clamps stuff down claim is 80+... I believe it. Heck, 80+ on a Cummins is nothing, why not a TwinMax?

God, jealousy on this board is amazing..... I'm glad theres finally some competition and hope that I get to be smoked by the TwinMax someday...

Ok..... I guess I'll get into the mix!! LOL!!! :-laf

Here is a 0-100 run, #2 only, 2wd, easy launch(but still spinning from 20-45 if you watch). If you run the video slowly with the mouse you will be able to catch some of the gauge readings :)

0-100 in a Ford

I don't have a D-max. Bring me one and your pocket book and I'll gladly build you a set.

that's 20 KPH not MPH.

MPH is the inside ring on that canadian speedo. There is 23seconds of video according to windows media player.

Like I said... I didn't make it, I just watched it.

Dockboy looks like he could lay a spankin on that dmax. . 12. 80 sec @ 107. 28 mph @ 7900 lbs.

That's pretty quick. Too bad it's a PHord ;):D
