New water pump orientation?

I purchased a new oem water pump for an 03 5.9 and it doesn’t have the weep hole on the back side like the one I took off. It only has one hole in the front. I was wondering if anyone knows if the hole goes in the 11 or 5 o’clock position? From the drawn diagram I’ve seen on mopar parts sites it looks like it’s 5 o’clock but I’m not sure the part number is 5473238 or 5086959ab. It only has one hole in it. I heard about the water pump recalls with the one hole and then putting in a second hole to vent them but this hole looks more like the new vent hole than the recalled weep hole.

Weep holes generally face down, so 5 oclock

Welcome, if it faced up at 11 debris would accumulate and drastically shorten the lifespan.

I don’t think it will go but one way.

Correct. The pump can only be installed one way. The two mounting bolts are different distances from the shaft.

I guess I guessed right then. I didn’t try to turn it around, I suppose I would have answered my own question if I did. Thank you all for your help.
